November 8th, 2024 — It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert J. Kite, a cherished member of our bankFNBD family and the DeRidder community. Robert served on our Board of Directors since 1981, bringing over four decades of unwavering dedication and insightful leadership to our institution.
Beyond his invaluable contributions to bankFNBD, Robert was the owner of Kite Brothers, LLC, and was deeply involved in real estate investments.
His entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to local business development played a significant role in shaping the economic landscape of our region.
Robert's legacy extends far beyond his professional achievements. He was a devoted family man, a trusted friend, and a pillar of our community. His generosity, wisdom, and steadfast commitment to the betterment of DeRidder have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
